Vampiric Triptych I: Tortured Cries

Lord above, I ask again in torment
Lord above, why must I bear this sin.
Lord above, I always hate the moment
When my incisions dot her supple skin.

Another artwork ruined by this foul taker,
Another beauty marred by my own hand
Where once I sought eternal praise from you my Maker,
Now only night remains as my true kin.

All my old fetters time erases in the sand.
Where once in chains of life I hung suspended,
If only had I hung then for my crimes,
Before the sanctity of life I had upended.

Escape through eons and through countries,
Unceasing march of the eternal host,
And I plague-bearer of the standard
Of freedom that I hate the most.
Let me escape into oblivion once more, I beg you.

Lord above, what great despair I have now come to.
Lord above, I cry, no tears remain.
Lord above, if I could pray to you I would do,
But I cannot escape my soul, the stain.

You have abandoned me o’ Lord I hate you,
I hate your priests, your Church, it’s hearth.
Let me despoil, defile your life’s creations,
Destroy the grace that you bestowed upon them.
Let me depart!

Before the Sun shall rise again, upon the morning
And mourning bells will toll for ruined art,
A shallow grave, another child is buried.
Lord above, why do you have no heart?
